After a seriously busy few months, I've finally got around to updating the website.
As well as a fresh new look, I've also added a Freelance page so you can find out about my clients.
There's a lot more to come!
Morton's Toe played a headline gig at The Fiddlers Elbow in Camden on Thursday 11th of November 2010.
On a stormy night that meant a few people couldn't make it due to train problems, Morton's Toe, played on and treated those who made it along to an energetic set.
"Let The Good Times Roll" and the set ending "Home" being the best received tracks of the night.
Morton's Toe now look forward to playing The Fox in Lewisham on Thursday 2nd of December 2010.
More gigs coming soon.
Well, after a hot and sweaty tube ride up to Camden Town during rush hour...we arrived at the suitably dark and dingy Tommy Flynn's on Camden High Street.
Morton's Toe were second to last on, so we got to take in the other bands and check out the sound, which was surprisingly good despite the small size of the venue.
Our turn to play came around quite quickly as there were no sound checks - you just turn up, plug in and play.
With the venue starting to fill up, we kicked off our set with 'Hold On' which was very well received and made us relax and enjoy the rest of the songs.
Full Set List:
Hold On
Finding Love
Killing Time
Velvet Sky
Good Times (Short version)
Home
Got some really good feedback, and a lot of people were surprised that we hadn't played a gig since November last year!
Next gig will be at the Bull and Vic in Dartford on Tuesday 26th October. Details to follow. Looking forward to it already!

The first set of live recordings have been done tonight, and I have to admit they sound quite good for a first run through.
We'll be doing some proper recording sessions very soon, so expect some songs to appear on the official website soon.

Yep folks, after an eventful year and a half, Tesknota are no more.
Thanks to all those who came along to support us.
Morton's Toe carrys on though, with some gigs coming up..
So August has been a super busy one work wise. Looking forward to a slightly quieter September, although I shouldn't have said that now should I?..
Due to it being summer time, band rehearsals have taken a major hit, with people being away on hols or visiting friends and family. We should be back on track from this week though. Gigs ARE coming very soon.
Tesknota
Putting final touches to a brand new set. However another major change is going to happen very soon and we're also planning some recording sessions.
Morton's Toe
Very nearly gig ready again. Some new tracks are on the way, as well a few refreshed old ones.
Off to Oxford to see some friends this weekend. Never been out in Oxford before, so really looking forward to it.
The following week is my birthday week! So I'm expecting plenty of drinks with friends, and by the look of it, some live music (watching not playing unfortunately).

I'm pleased to say that my Trace Elliot amp head, hadn't bit the dust. It must have just been a dodgy lead that Mark had used. Phew!
Got a message last night from Mark (Guitarist in Morton's Toe) that he was using my Trace Elliot bass amp head and its started making crackling noises! Shall inspect it tomorrow at a Tesknota rehearsal.
Guess it'll be off to the repair shop pretty soon then. Joy. :0(
First up, thank you for visiting my website!
It's nice isn't it? What was that? It could be better?! Well if you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them as I'd like to make this site as user friendly as possible.
Well, I intend to keep this up-to-date with my music projects as well as other silly stuff that I feel the need to share.
I am still building bits of the site, so please bare with me if some links don't work at the moment.
